Under current LADWP and Metropolitan Water District (MWD) funding, qualifying residential customers can receive up to $5.00 per square foot for replacing turf with water-efficient landscaping (up to 5,000 square feet, or a maximum payout of $25,000 per property). Rates for commercial properties can be even higher.
